Prof. Dr. C. Krithika graduated from the prestigious Tamil Nadu Government Dental College and Hospital, Chennai, and earned the title of the ‘Best Outgoing Student’. Having bagged 4 gold medals, she did her M.D.S. in Oral Medicine and Radiology from her Alma Mater and then obtained her Ph.D. from Meenakshi Academy of Higher Education and Research (MAHER). She has won several national quiz programs and has also presented several papers at prestigious national conferences. She completed her CBCT training from DMD, Ghaziabad, and has been a pioneer in the field of CBCT. She is not just a senior consultant Maxillofacial Radiologist but also a passionate teacher who has guided many undergraduates, post-graduate students, and Ph.D. research scholars. She has over 55 research publications in reputed international journals indexed in Web of Science, PUBMED, and SCOPUS including Triple O, DMFR, IJOMS, JOMS, IDJ, and CCD. She also serves on the editorial board of many indexed journals. She has obtained research grants from ICMR and DBT and has applied for patents for 2 devices. Prof. Krithika has delivered more than 30 invited guest lectures in academic institutions and private hospitals. She has conducted several training programs on CBCT and has been a resource manager for various faculty development programs especially related to research and publications. She has served as the Head of Department of Oral Medicine & Radiology, Vice Principal, and Joint Registrar before taking up her current role as Registrar of MAHER.
